February 26, 2020 - Anchored in His Love
Love - St. Monica & St. Teresa of Avila
Dear St. Isidore School Families,

“Lent is the Autumn of the spiritual life, during which we gather fruit to keep us going the rest of the year.” â€“ St. Francis de Sales

Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. The purpose of Lent is to set aside time for reflection on Jesus Christ, his suffering and his sacrifice, his life, death, and resurrection. This special time of prayer and reflection ultimately brings us closer to God. Please join us during the Lenten season for all-school Mass every Friday at 8:10 a.m.

STEAM Night Success
A big thank you to everyone who attended last week’s STEAM Night! It was absolutely wonderful to see over four hundred people enjoy a night out centered around learning and fun. Over eighteen stations were available for students to explore. I am extremely grateful to our amazing STEAM Team and appreciate the time and expertise they lent to the event.

Show your spirit
The first batch of SIS Spirit Wear arrived this week! Orders were distributed directly to the students. As mentioned previously, students will be able to wear their Spirit Wear on free dress donation days and the first Mondays of the month with jeans, khakis or uniform bottoms. The first day to wear SIS Spirit Wear will be this Monday, March 2. If you are yet to order and would like to do so, please click here .

The auction is our school’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and we depend on your presence and support to make this event a success. I want to take a moment to thank this year’s auction chair, Amy Barmby, for her hard work and dedication, making this year’s auction totally radical.
