KIDS DAY OUT

If your child is staying on Friday from 2:00 - 3:30 for Kids Day Out, please send in a note to your child's homeroom teacher so the teacher is aware of the change in transportation. If your child is returning to After Care, or leaving with someone other than their parent, please indicate this on the note. Thank you from Student Council.

SJSAAA POSITIONS OPEN

REPORT CARDS

The end of the 2nd trimester was February 24th. 2nd Trimester report cards will be available for parents to view and/or print on Sycamore on Thursday, March 5th.
SJS BOOK FAIR UPDATE

Mrs. Schreiber is happy to report the final success numbers are in from the Book Fair. With students’ enthusiasm for reading and families’ generosity at the Book Fair, Joseph Beth donated $2061.55 back to the SJS library! This money will be used to purchase books based on students’ and teachers’ requests. A big thank you to all families for supporting the library! Aspire Higher. Book by Book. 
I AM MORE
GRATITUDE

The theme for the third trimester is "gratitude". I am more when I show gratitude! The definition of gratitude is being thankful and grateful. Let's have an attitude of gratitude. All faculty, staff, and students may be out of uniform this Friday if they wear their "I AM MORE" shirt with jeans or sweatpants.

LENTEN NEWS

The youngest child in each family was given a "Welcome Risen
Jesus" Lenten daily prayer book from the parish. Please take time to read a page each day and enhance your family’s Lenten journey. Our Parish Lenten schedule can be found by clicking the link to the right.
FIRST RECONCILIATION

First Reconciliation will be held next Wednesday, March 4, at 6:30 PM in church. Students should arrive by 6:20.

For the 2020 baseball & softball season, the Villa Hills Longhorns Athletic Association will again be offering youth “instructional” baseball – with both “tee ball” and “coach pitch” available.

2020 SATURDAY ARTSTOP CLASSES AT THE CARNEGIE
Looking for arts programming for students ages 7 to 12? Check out The Carnegie’s ARTSTOP classes beginning on February 29, 2020. Students can register for 2 different, six week, programs –  Shadow Puppets  running Saturdays from 9 to 10:30 am and  Sketch Comedy
  running Saturdays from 10:45 to 12:15pm. (See Flyer Below)

Calvin Scheper was a graduate of Covington Catholic High School. He passed away suddenly a year ago. Calvin loved to run cross country and ran in numerous 5k benefits. Camp Innovation Pathways to College Program at Northern Kentucky University encourages students in kindergarten through ninth grades to join us for our upcoming spring enrichment program. Camp Innovation offers a cutting-edge program designed for high potential youth to discover and explore advanced content and engaged learning. All classes provide the opportunity for students to share interests with other children while exploring pathways to intellectual development, academic enhancement, career exploration, and creative artistic fulfillment. 
 
Camp Innovation will take place Saturdays, March 7 through March 21, 9:00 am - 11:30 am at Northern Kentucky University. Northern Kentucky University is conveniently located just 7 miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio.
 
Taught by qualified teachers in a college-environment, the transdisciplinary classes focus on a central theme and are designed to allow students to explore their natural curiosities. Students are encouraged to choose their own classes on a first-come, first-served basis.
