Dr. Notes - News from Mike
"Dr. Shrink, Inc. is celebrating 26 years in business this month. April is always the month where I find myself looking back and seeing how much Dr. Shrink has grown over the past 26 years; but also a time where I look toward the future of the company and set new goals for another successful year. I would just like to take a moment to thank each and every one of our customers, distributors, vendors, staff members, friends and family for everything along the way. We wouldn't be here today without your support.

Things have thawed out for the most part here in Michigan. As you remove your boat covers for the spring and summer season, please remember to properly recycle your shrink wrap. Take a few minutes to watch our silent movie, Don't Trash Your Shrink Wrap, to get an idea of just how easy it is to recycle your shrink wrap (and to have a few laughs).

Hope everyone has a very Happy Easter!"

Anniversary
On Saturday, April 21st we'll be celebrating 26 years in the business! During our anniversary week, April 16th through April 22nd, we're offering $26.00 off an order of $260.00 or more! All you need to do is use promo code 26YEARS online or mention it when placing phone orders.
With spring in the air and the weather getting warmer, it's time to think about taking those shrink covers off your boats, campers, RVs and other recreational items. Recycling your shrink wrap covers is something that everyone should do - throwing shrink wrap material into a landfill is waste and damaging to the environment. It will NOT biodegrade in a landfill. Dr. Shrink cares about the environment and wants to help make it easier for you to recycle our film.

Our Recycling Run makes recycling in the Great Lakes area a breeze. This program is only available in MI, WI, IL, IN and OH. Click here for more information or visit www.recycling-run.com.

Our REBAGĀ® Recycling Kit is another option that is available for any state in the Continental U.S.

Take a look below at our Training & Tips section to watch our Don't Trash Your Shrink Wrap Silent Movie that pairs with our Recycling Run Program. *Please note that pickup locations have changed to only the Great Lake states.
This month the Dr. is highlighting products and services as it relates to the Material Handling Industry. The use of shrink wrap in material handling is becoming more popular, as it is more durable than stretch wrap and full encapsulation can make it completely waterproof. Less strapping will be required and when using a high mil thickness, the object becomes tamper resistant.

Manufacturers produce products all across the globe and in order to successfully transport these products from their origination to final destination, a durable protection solution is required. Offering shrink wrap solutions from 6-12 mil thickness, Dr. Shrink provides some of the most durable transportation protection in the market.

Manufacturers want their products looking brand-new and functioning correctly upon delivery. With all the issues that come with the shipping process, shrink wrap minimizes the possibility of damage more effectively than other methods such as tarps. Protecting your goods through shrink wrap is an investment. With the multiple ways something is capable of receiving damage during the storage and shipment process, protecting it is a matter of loss prevention. Protecting your product is protecting your reputation and business.

If you have any questions about applications, please feel free to give us a call at 800.968.5147 or email us. We're always here to help.
Throughout the world, the Construction & Scaffolding industry has seen tremendous growth in shrink wrap applications and uses. Internationally, there are different requirements construction materials need to meet when used on projects in this industry.
