You may recall that Joby Aviation is building a fully-electric, vertical take-off and landing passenger aircraft with $100M Series B funding secured in February. Well, y'all, there's another player in town. Google co-founder Larry Page has "pulled the covers off his secretive Hollister-based project to build a self-piloted air taxi." According to the author, there's a strong possibility that "it will be manufactured in a new plant at Hollister Airport by a workforce of up to 200 people."
