Encompass Credit Union announced a $100,000 gift to the City of Frankfort’s Prairie Creek Park project at a news conference. CEO Matt Lambert provides comment in the story.
Project Spotlight is a program created by Beacon Credit Union with the hope that individuals and organizations will be inspired to reach out and serve those living and working around them. The campaign takes place in all 12 of the communities that Beacon has a full service branch located.
The donation was made as part of the credit union's affinity debit card program. President/CEO Ron Collier comments in this story.

Solidarity Community FCU was one of the places where a Kokomo boy's lemonade stand was set up to raise money for the family of Boone County Deputy Jacob Pickett, who was fatally shot during a foot chase.
The credit union made the donation as part of its ongoing school spirit debit card program.

The foundation recently held its 9th annual event. Proceeds go toward the Robert E. Martin Collegiate Scholarship Program and the Joan Wolfe Legacy Grant as well as to purchase 5,000 backpacks and fill them with school supplies. Executive Director Mandy Emery is quoted in this story, which includes photos from the event.
