Washington, DC
7 Bills have been introduced in the House addressing the Renewal of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)
which will most likely be massaged into one Bill to be heard by the House mid-July. The Senate will also have a version. If there is no renewal in place by September 30 deadline many property owners may be no longer able to obtain Flood Insurance. The last time the program was allowed to lapse 1,400 sales/escrows were affected daily across the country.
