Harper 50th Curriculum Infusion-What Students Say is Most Relevant
Written by Stephanie Whalen, Chair, Academy for Teaching Excellence & Associate Professor, English and Interdisciplinary Studies

Blackboard Updates on MyHarper Portal
Shared by the MyHarper Portal Team
Thanks to members of the faculty for sharing feedback on the Blackboard section of the new MyHarper Portal. We heard you loud and clear; the Blackboard section needed improvement for instructors with many courses.

Based on your feedback, our colleagues in Information Technology are pushing an update to the MyHarper Portal. The improved Blackboard section will sort courses so the most current term will be shown on top. All others will be available through a "show more" button. We encourage you to login to the MyHarper Portal and check it out for yourself.
Happy Holidays from the Academy!

Student Learning Showcase
Help your students learn graphing skills (and help them win a gift card)!
Did you know that Harper students need help learning how to read and interpret graphs and tables? In fact, our most recent General Education Quantitative Reasoning assessment showed that many students-even those with 45+ credit hours-have trouble comparing two graphs.
