Ladies, please RSVP Today and sign up to attend the 2018 CPWC gala with Yacht Rock
Schooner and Chef Alex Reethof benefitting Gathering Industries on  April 28, 2018 at 7:00 at the Farnsley Home, 100 Atlanta Country Club Drive. 

Tickets are $200 per person and include a tax-deductible contribution. You are welcome to bring your friends as well.

All members should have received a special Evite about the event this week linking to the tickets page, so check your email, or visit the CPWC website and please purchase your tickets today! If you have student volunteers needing service hours, please reach out to one of the committee members and we can get them signed up to help!

We hope everyone will be able
to make the Gala next month. Please make sure to RSVP for the April 28th event!

We have several exciting events this month, including our March program on Travel and Exploration on March 16th.

Thank you to our generous members for donating $350 in gas cards for Great Prospects and many bedding items and toiletries for Kid2Leaders! 

We had a carload of donations we were able to deliver!

programMarch 16th Program: Embracing Wanderlust
Travel and Exploration ~ 10:30 am to 1:00 pm

Embrace your Wanderlust on  March 16 as we explore active travel, family travel, and cultural travel trends with Cheryl B. Weldon of Valerie Wilson Travel. 

We will meet at the home of Siobhan Cummings ( 4510 Dartmoor Dr. Marietta, GA 30067) from  10:30am to 1pm.   *Note Dartmoor Drive is in the Fainview Farm neighborhood off of Powers Rd.

Garden Club Flower Show Recap
Garden Club attended the Flower Show at the Botanical Gardens on February 23. The group enjoyed the horticulture, landscaping displays, and artistic floral designs. We capped off the day with lunch in Colony Square at 5 Church restaurant. 



Daytime Book Club: Save the date: March 12th!  
The Daytime Book Club will meet on  Monday, Mar. 12, at 10 AM at the home of Susan Gavalis (562 Pine Valley Rd). We will discuss "Hillbilly Elegy" by J. D. Vance. Bible Study: Save the date: March 8th!
Bible Study Group meets every Thursday at 10 am at the Atlanta country Club. We will be studying the "Good News" from the Epistles, teaching important truths to help us live victorious in this life. John 10:10. For more information, call or email  Lettie Nixon (770-953-2066).

Hiking Club: Save the date: March 27th! 
We will hike the Azalea walkway, which includes the raised boardwalk that was completed a year ago.  Please meet in the ACC parking lot at  8am  on  Tuesday, March 27  to carpool. Hope you will join us!  Jean Dole  (404) 433-5551.

Yoga Interest Group: Save the date: March 5th!
Yoga will meet on Mondays this month, beginning March 5th, at 11:30 am (Linda Pace's house: 4853 Rivercliffe Dr). Beginners are always welcome in the alignment-based class. Please enter the home via the garage & take the stairs down to the lower level. Email Belinda Vogel for more info or to be put on the mailing list.
