Camp K9 News

The George W. Bush Institute brought a group of its own wounded warriors to tour and volunteer at Camp K9 this month. The members of Team 43 - also post-9/11, wounded veterans -  engaged in peer-to-peer interaction with our current class of warriors. We could not be more proud of this partnership, and look forward to continuing to support each other in our missions of rehabilitating our nation's veterans.

The Petco Foundation awarded K9s For Warriors a generous grant of $125,000 in March.  Through the Helping Heroes initiative, Petco invests in the life-changing work of service, therapy, and working animals.  We are thankful for this grant that will go a long way towards helping future service dogs and warriors!
