The International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT) is organizing its inaugural event in India. This one-day BevTech India 2020 event will be held on February 18, 2020 at Taj Santacruz, in Mumbai, India in partnership with AFST(I) Mumbai chapter. The theme of this event is “The Role of Innovation, Technology, and Sustainability in the Beverage Industry".

BevTech India 2020 will provide attendees with a unique platform for discussing hot topics in the beverage industry while also sharing new concepts and ideas for innovative products, services, and advanced scientific technologies. Participants will be able to meet with beverage industry leaders and experts in the areas of buying, selling, creating, distributing, recycling, packaging, equipment, and other services. A special exhibit area will allow companies to display products and advertise services.

No matter the size and focus of your company, if you are involved in the beverage industry – bottled water, wine, beer, dairy, juice, tea, coffee, or soft drinks - this event is for you!

The Sanitation for Fountain Beverages course addresses the protocols and procedures to ensure safe and high-quality delivery of fountain dispensed ice and beverages consumed by millions of consumers globally. This course allows for a better understanding of sanitizing solution options, beverage dispenser cleaning, ice container cleaning, flushing syrup lines, and proper material handling. The lessons are designed for any organization dispensing fountain beverages, or even just using an ice bin, can now have industry recognized training available for personnel.

Super Bowl Sunday Goes Green - As fans from across the county descended upon South Florida, the National Football League (NFL) partnered with Miami-Dade County to develop tactics and goals to be more environmentally conscious. Specifically, they announced the offering of more environmentally friendly options at the stadium and their goal to “ensure all disposed materials are diverted to a recycling facility or converted into renewable energy.”
