Help support the Pittsylvania Pet Center

Special naming opportunities and brick sales are now available to allow a variety of ways to support the new Pittsylvania Pet Center, formally known as the Pittsylvania County Animal Shelter, being constructed on Route 29 in Blairs.

Now you can support the new Pet Center, while also honoring the memory of a beloved pet, commemorating a special occasion or proclaiming your love and support of animals in need. A variety of giving opportunities are available here.

Personalized Bricks may also be ordered to celebrate or memorialize your most important people, pets and dates for years to come. Each engraved brick will be a visible part of the main entrance and garden area. Engraved bricks may be ordered in two sizes:
4"x8" bricks - $100
8"x8" bricks - $200

Brick order forms are available here or by calling The Community Foundation at 434-793-3663.

General donations may also be given to the Pittsylvania County Animal Shelter Endowment Fund to support continuing animal care and services at the Shelter - emergency vet care, spay and neuter services, food, transportation, etc.

Any of the above tax deductible gifts may be designated for the Pittsylvania Pet Center through The Community Foundation, 541 Loyal Street, Danville, VA 24541. Online gifts can be made by clicking the "Please Donate" button below. A portion of every donation will go to provide long-term support for the shelter.
