Our First Event of 2020
Our first event of the year took place on January 14th at Hotel Irvine where we had an inspiring conversation and book signing. Soheila Adelipour and Dr. Sherry Nooravi spoke to a full house about learning to change and persevering through life's challenges. We were happy to see many new faces and we are grateful for each person who showed up for this inspiring evening. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at future events!
LA Rising Leaders Present Winter Wellness Retreat
IAWF's LA Rising Leaders Chapter is excited to host its second annual  Winter Wellness Retreat . After last year's sold-out event, we are looking forward to starting the new year by providing a variety ways to work on the mind, body, and spirit connection. Make time for your personal wellness journey and join us for a day of meditation, movement, breath work, sound therapy, and Qi Gong, in addition to enlightening workshops and motivational panels. Alexandra Monir Book Signing at The Grove in Los Angeles
IAWF invites you to join us at the book launch for Alexandra Monir 's new novel, The Life Below , the sequel to her hit science-fiction adventure, The Final Six , featuring a brilliant young Iranian-American girl . The event will take place at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in LA on Tuesday, February 18th starting at 7:00 pm. Please join us for a book talk and signing, with a refreshment spread from Dylan's Candy Bar. This is an all-ages event. You can find more information about the event here .
Join us for TEDSocial Tiny Talk Dinner Party in Irvine
IAWF would like to feature our member, Nikkisa Abdollahi, who is the the Founder and Curator of TedxYouth@BommerCanyon, as well as a talented artist and designer based in Southern California. We congratulate Nikkisa for her work in inspiring and engaging with children and young adults through her work as a TEDxYouth organizer.

Let’s commit to sharing perspectives and learning the art of listening with people different than us in a casual and engaging way.
