We want to keep you abreast of our short-term goals, progress and activity.
In Studio 21: Independent Artists-in-Residence are renting space and working! We've converted two former offices to dorm rooms and can host both residents and instructors in a space that also has a mini-kitchen and shared shower/bath.
Interested in an independent residency? Call us today!
Projects are underway to prepare walls and spaces for establishing a classroom space and hanging artwork. The goal is to launch a new set of classes and residencies and to move our gallery store to the space by summer 2020.
There is still an open call for artist work space in the "Pill Box" which is the former pharmacy pill-counting area: 500 square feet plus a water source for $375/month. Call if interested!
Building 17, formerly the Dog Haus, will receive an internal demolition this winter as part of a commercial revitalization grant. Subsequently it will be rented out to a commercial business for at least 2 years. This is a requirement of the grant funding.
As you can see, even as the building is not open to the public, things are moving and shaking. Should you be interest in supporting these efforts, we look forward to talking with you!
