As we embark on the new year with excitement and anticipation, and all that it will bring, we need to take a moment to look back at 2019 and relish in moments of incredible achievement. Your credit union has had a wonderful year with the expansion of new products and services, providing financial education in schools for our local children, and working one-on-one with adults who needed help getting back on track due to unavoidable, life-changing events. We were also successful in being a resource for small businesses and their employees, who requested educational sessions, which taught them valuable life skills. These are just a few of the great things that your credit union provides to its’ members’ and community. Additionally, tens of thousands of dollars were raised for Ending Hunger in our area, Special Olympics Maine, the Maine Children’s Cancer program; and our staff volunteered thousands of hours assisting various organizations in the community for worthy causes. I am so proud to be part of such a great organization.
Now as we look toward spring of this year, I would like to take the opportunity to answer some questions regarding our new main office location at 94 Silver Street. We are anticipating relocating to the new facility early to mid-June of 2020. Our existing office location will be shut down to the public but will be maintained for back-office operations. Yes, I will be located in the new main office along with much of the management team. Safe Deposit Boxes will be relocated to the new facility and our members who have boxes will not need to do anything. We will notify all box holders when we schedule the relocation. Finally, the ATM at the Grove Street location will be shut down and a new one will be installed at the new location. We will continue to communicate as we get closer to our moving date.
In closing, on behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, I would like to wish all of you a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!
Sincerely,
Ryan G. Poulin
