January 2020 UME Master Gardener
State Office Announcements
Happy New Year! We are so thankful for the many hours that our dedicated volunteers performed in 2019.
In 2020 we are looking forward to offering fantastic continuing education and volunteer opportunities, the Maryland Master Gardener Conference, as well as improving our resources and support for our Master Gardeners.
2020 Year of Beneficial Bugs
It's a new year and we have a new spokes"bug". This year with Grow It Eat It we are highlighting all of the wonderful beneficial insects that support our gardens- from pollinators to predators insects and even parasitoids. We have a lot to thank for these tiny garden friends and 2020 is their time to shine.
Keep up to date with our website as we add 2020 Year of Beneficial Bugs resources and downloadable social media graphics!
Here's What You Accomplished in 2019
In 2019 Maryland Master Gardeners submitted 26,155 hours of continuing education and 111,867 hours of volunteering! Can you believe that we surpassed hours submitted in 2018?
