Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid Training, help trains individual to understand and respond to people in distress. Attendees will be more aware and informed of what Mental illness is and is not. Mental Health First Aid Course teaches people how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses; and substance use disorders in their community and also where they can turn for help. The course will be offered in 2 sessions of two (4 hours, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm). Attendees must complete the full 8 hours in order to receive certification for the course.
