Fairgrounds Partners with School System and Sheriff's Department for Ghost Out and Teen Maze on March 24

The Cumming Fairgrounds will host the Forsyth County Schools' annual Ghost Out and Teen Maze event on Saturday, March 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Previously rotated between the county's five public high schools, Ghost Out utilizes the Forsyth County Sheriff's and Fire Departments and other emergency services personnel to simulate a fatal car crash. The very realistic simulation is a powerful reminder to students not to drive distracted or intoxicated.

This year's event will also include the Ultimate Teen Xperience, a life-size maze that gives students a chance to practice their responses to real-life situations that could potentially threaten their future successes, as well as several educational stations for parents to better learn about the challenges facing teens today.

Ghost Out is free and open to all students in grades 8-12 and their parents (students do not have to be enrolled in a Forsyth County public school to attend), and will be held rain or shine. Learn more about the event here.
