THE MORE YOU KNOW
What happens when you combine financial planning with March Madness®

The National Endowment for Financial Education and the Financial Planning Association have come together to create the Financial Four, an interactive bracket of concepts that helps individuals identify their most valued financial areas.

Lindsey Chastain
Business Advisor
Louisville, KY

Describe your role at ARGI in less than two sentences:   I'm an accountant for various small businesses in the Louisville and Southern Indiana areas. My goal is to help improve the internal operations and financial performance of those businesses by recording transactions properly, studying the numbers and providing high-level financial reporting with feedback.

Hometown:  Scottsdale, AZ

Mantra: Work hard, have fun and let God decide what it all means.

What is the greatest challenge you've had to overcome in your life thus far? When I was 20, I was in an extremely serious car accident with a friend. We were cut out of the vehicle and airlifted to the hospital. Both of us overcame our injuries and trauma to swim at the NCAA Division I championships 8 months later.

Where is your favorite place to vacation? Gresham, Oregon in the summer

What is your favorite hobby? I love to run and swim, but I also love a good Broadway show or art museum!

Are you involved with any charities or non-profits?  Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Number one thing on your bucket list?Go to Prague

What would you do for a career, if you weren't working at ARGI? I'd love to work in leadership for a nonprofit, and I'd also be interested in studying law.

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be? If I could acquire the talent for one day, I'd love to be on Broadway!

What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?  Embrace each journey. Go for a goal, but really enjoy the people and experiences along the way, and don't forget to value the challenges.

How do you define success? When EVERYONE on the team can say they improved personally to help accomplish a greater goal.
