STAGE 1 WATER CONSERVATION BEGINS JUNE 4
Due to the recent rising temperatures and lack of rain, the City of Boerne is entering Stage 1 Water Conservation beginning Monday, June 4.

Landscape watering with sprinklers or irrigation systems is allowed only from 7 pm - 11 am two days per week, according to your street address. Hand watering with a hose or bucket is allowed anytime.

MOVIE & CONCERTS IN THE PARK
June is another busy month for fun events at Boerne's Main Plaza! Grab your lawn chairs and bring the whole family for evenings of fun.

Celebrate Boerne's German heritage at two Abendkonzerts in June! The Boerne Village Band performs at Main Plaza on June 5 and June 19. Music starts at 7:30 pm.

Movie in The Park returns to Main Plaza on June 29 with Little Giants. Pre-movie activities begin at 7:30 pm and the show begins at dark.
NATURAL GAS SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
Beginning June 12, the primary natural gas pipeline that supplies Boerne Utilities natural gas customers will be shut down for pipeline maintenance, which should take no more than 18 days. Although the City of Boerne was given extremely short notice about the pipeline maintenance project, we have worked out a solution.
 
The City of Boerne’s gas customers should not experience any interruptions in their service.
Patrick Heath Public Library's Summer Learning Odyssey kicks off Monday, June 4! For 2018, the Library is presenting a calendar packed with reading, music, dance, and more for all ages.

In addition to the outstanding programs offered at the Library, there is also a bingo contest for youth and teens. Visit the Patrick Heath Public Library's website page for all the details and a calendar of events.
Join the Boerne Planning & Zoning Commission for a regularly scheduled meeting, including a public hearing on the 2018 Boerne Master Plan on June 4 at 6 pm in the Police and Municipal Court Complex.

MAYOR'S CORNER
It's June in Boerne, which means summer is here! Check out the Mayor's monthly column, which offers a wealth of info on many of the happenings in the City of Boerne throughout the month.

On May 10, the City of Boerne officially broke ground on our new City Hall! If you missed the ceremony, check out the highlights in the video above.

Boerne's new City Hall will house over 10 departments, and will serve as the City of Boerne Utilities headquarters and Boerne City Council Chambers. Learn more about the City Hall project below.
Boerne's Family Fishing Tournament is tomorrow! Head to Boerne City Lake for this FREE event, where anglers of all ages can fish with or without a license.

Check-in begins at 7:30 am and judging starts at 11 am. Categories include Longest Bass, Largest Perch/Sun Fish, and Most Fish.

MAIN STREET ROAD CLOSURES
Texas Department of Transportation repairs and resurfacing continue on Main Street throughout the month of June! The majority of road closures will continue to be at night, from 8:30 pm - 5:30 am. The repairs will run the entire length of Main St., beginning at IH-10 North and ending at IH-10 South.

Please use caution while TxDOT crews are working. You can follow along with the progress of this project and other TxDOT construction by using their project tracker, linked below.
BURN BAN REINSTATED
As of May 29, Kendall County Commissioners have reinstated the countywide burn ban.

No outdoor burning is allowed in Kendall County until further notice. As always, outdoor burning is never allowed inside the city limits of Boerne.
Save the date, City Pool opens Friday, June 8 at 1 pm! Admission to the pool is $2 for city residents, or $3 for non-residents, and punch cards can be purchased for extra savings if you plan to visit frequently.

Patrick Heath Public Library is open until 10 pm to help Boerne students prepare for final exams Monday, June 4 - Wednesday, June 6.

The library will be offering free computer access, snacks, brain breaks, free printing, tech help, and more. Good luck to all Boerne students on final exams!
MAIN ST. CLOSED FOR BERGES FEST PARADE
A portion of Main Street from Frederick Street to Hosack Street will be closed from 9 am - noon for the Annual Boerne Berges Fest Parade on Saturday, June 16. The Berges Fest Parade begins at 10 am.
YMCA SUMMER PROGRAMS
Summer is here, and the Boerne Family YMCA is excited to offer a variety of camps for kids ages 3-12 throughout the season. Choices include sports, water fun, outdoor games, science, art, and more!

Also, be sure to check out the YMCA's Youth and Government program. There is an informational meeting on June 20 at 6 pm.
