Announcements
Annual Meeting
Sunday, January 26th at 11:30a

All church members are called to the Annual Meeting of Trinitarian Congregational Church, on Sunday, January 26th at 11:30a. Church Members will adopt a 2020 Budget, vote on a new slate of church leaders and receive updated ministry reports.

Join us as we celebrate the great things God has done in 2019 and plan for 2020. All TCC members are requested to attend this year’s meeting to vote on new leaders and finalize our budget.
There will be just one worship service at 9:30a that morning, followed by an All Church Brunch.
All Church Brunch Before the Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 26 th - What Will you bring?

We are going to have an All-Church Pot Luck Brunch before the Annual Meeting. We’ll provide the eggs and breakfast meat (thanks to Peter and Kathryn Kidd, Jim and Robin Spinale and their Small Group) as well as coffee, tea and juice.

Would you be willing to bring a salad, bagels and cream cheese, fruit, muffins, a breakfast bread or other goodies?

Drop it in the kitchen on the way into church that morning and we will set it out.
There is Still Time to Make a Pledge for 2020!

T o date, we have received 140 cards, indicating planned contributions of $1,208,092 to TCC next year. Our goal this year was 150 cards and $1,275,000. You can help us reach this goal!

If you have not yet returned a card, you may do so through the church office or the offering plate. You can also email your Faith Promise to the church at contributions@tccwayland.org.
2020 Offering Envelopes

Offering envelopes for 2020 are now available in the church lobby for pick up. If you like to use assigned envelopes and do not see a box already there for you, let Aimee Mury know by signing up on the clipboard sheet located in the lobby with the envelopes, otherwise call the church office at 508-358-7717, or email Aimee at  contributions@tccwayland.org .

Likewise, if you have assigned envelopes, but won’t use them, please leave them in the box in the lobby BUT mark “Won’t need” and initial the box. This will save us from over ordering next year. Tha nk you!

Angel Tree Coordinator Needed!

After 6 years of faithful volunteer service, Jim Santamaria is stepping down as coordinator of TCC’s Angel Tree Program . A special thank you to Jim, his wife, Nan, and Julio Hernandez as well as all those who so generously donated and helped over the years!

The Angel Tree Program started in 1984, as a part of Chuck Colson’s Prison Fellowship, and seeks the reconciliation of an incarcerated parent with his or her children and caregiver. More importantly, the program seeks the transformation of children’s lives so that they will choose to become the next generation of followers of Christ instead of the next generation of lawbreakers. In a wonderfully practical expression of Christ’s love, Angel Tree provides Christmas gifts to the children of incarcerated parents and TCC has participated in this important ministry for 36 years.

Would you be willing to step up into this role next Christmas season? Please contact Jim at 508-358-7821  or   hermitisland@gmail.com.
CRP Training To Be Held At TCC
America Heart Association is offering CPR training classes at TCC on Jan 22, 6:30-9p.  Cost is $85 ($55 for children's and student ministry volunteers.)   Email gail.hughson@gmail.com to reserve a spot.
Winter Parking is Tight - Please Help!!
If you are physically able, please park in the Town Building Lot. You may drop off people or paraphernalia and then proceed to the parking lot. This will leave parking spots for visitors, the handicapped, our older population and those with young infants and toddlers.  This is a practical way for us to show hospitality.  Do not park along the sides of the driveway, as these areas are fire lanes and must be kept clear.

Not sure how to find the overflow lot? Here's a map!
Winter Weather and Possible Church Cancellations

With winter on our doorstep, here is TCC’s inclement weather policy regarding church service delays or cancellation:

In the event of bad weather, a decision will be made by 7p on Saturday night for Sunday morning services . On Sunday mornings, we may potentially cancel the 9:30A service (along with all LTA and Youth Programming) and just have the 11A service. This would mean there would not be any Student Ministry or Children’s Programming at the 11A service.
You can learn about any plans to cancel or delay services by:
  • Calling the church office (508-358-7717; a temporary message will be left on the church’s answering machine so that people may call in and find out the status of services)
  • Checking the front page of the TCC website
  • Checking CBSBoston.com
  • Watching WBZ-TV
As always, please use your own discretion before traveling in any questionable weather!
