Republica Dominicana
International Builds: Dominican Republic.
Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity is embarking on its first international build in the Dominican Republic. Habitat for Humanity Dominican Republic and MVHH are not only connected through their commitment to the same mission, but through the deep Dominican community in Lawrence, MA where the MVHH affiliate office resides.
We will be building in San Juan de la Maguana from March 3rd - March 11th of 2018. Participants on the trip are a combination of board members, staff and dedicated volunteers. The cost of the trip is $2,000 for each participant - plus airfare, and includes a contribution to Habitat to be used to fund construction in the DR. It is estimated 40% of the trip, excluding airfare, will be a tax-deductible contribution.
We currently have 11 committed participants and are looking to take 15 in total. We anticipate an unforgettable community build experience to be shared by all. Join us. For those interested contact us 978-681-8858 or email
