The Hammond-Henry Hospital Regional Health Partners (RHP) Cambridge Clinic opened on Monday, January 8 with scheduled appointments and same-day availability. There has been multiple new patient requests every day and we are making every effort to foster continuity of care with Unity Point and other area providers.
The Annawan Walk-In Clinic opened on Monday, January 15 and has served patients from Annawan, Kewanee, Mineral, Sheffield, Hooppole, Atkinson and other surrounding communities. We are very excited to announce that Janelle Olson, PA-C has been hired and will begin as a full-time provider in Annawan in March. Janelle has significant experience and expertise in acute care and is looking forward to starting. Community response has been very positive so far in both locations.
We are also planning a community wellness outreach event in Orion during the next few months and we look forward to collaborating with Dr. McCaw on this event.
We are very optimistic about our regional expansion and progress in better serving our patients and their families, while we continue to collaborate with all local providers, hospitals and systems.
