We are proud of our graduating class of 2017! This year all 41 students will graduate and matriculate into college. Over 93% of the 2017 graduating class received an academic and/or athletic honor and over $1.5 million dollars in scholarships were offered!

As we celebrate the Class of 2017, we stand with confidence knowing that each of these students have received the academic and spiritual foundation they need to thrive and are well prepared to handle the  rigors of higher education, as well as life. Please continue to pray for these students as they go out into the world and make a difference for Christ!

Dressed in the same outfits, seventh grade Santa Clarita Christian School students Ava Kalinske, Kelly Lotz, Olivia Caldwell and Meagan Enbody shout a slogan in unison to attract potential buyers to their stand.
They also are enticing their fellow students with a glass of free Powerade if, and only if, they purchase on of their Moko Cases for $3.75.
"It's a water bottle pencil case that you can put anything in," Enbody said.  "We recycled everything to make it."  Click to read more.
SCCS Freshman Lucas Pettee earns Santa Clarita Choral Educator Association Scholarship

On April 25th, SCCS Freshman Lucas Pettee won a $500 vocal scholarship and a first place in the high school division from the Santa Clarita Choral Educator Association during the  annual SCCEA Choral Festival.

The choral festival, held at Grace Baptist Church, was attended by SCCS' choir and thirteen junior high and
high school choirs, as well as The Master's University Chorale and College of the Canyon's Chamber Choir.

"This is a massive achievement especially considering that Lucas also won first place in the junior high division last year," said SCCS Choir Director Susi Johnson. "Lucas continues to be acknowledged for his talent and hard work and yet has remained humble and teachable. He is a leader in our choir and we couldn't be more proud of him."  The $500 scholarship Lucas received will be used toward continuing his music education. Congratulations Lucas!

Congratulations to Senior Victoria Kirshner and Junior Lauren Froerer for their CIF win in swimming!
SCCS Citizenship Assessment Program
By: Mr. Wilson, SCCS Principal

The SCCS Citizenship Assessment Program enjoyed another great
year. This program exists to encourage and highlight those studentswho are excelling still more in their spiritual formation and outward behavior. The program specifically highlights eight categories in order to encourage how students are growing as "citizens" of the SCCS community. Each citizenship trait is also listed on the child's report cards with comments from their teacher. In addition, these same eight categories are also the monthly character themes in our Kids with Character program.   Click to read more.
