Whether you’re looking for a pampered, relaxing weekend away or an active outdoors experience, you will find it at Camp Fire’s annual Wild Women of Wohelo Women’s Retreat! Relax, refresh your spirit, ignite your creativity, and spend time in a wonderful community of women - all for a great cause! Come join us on August 4th and 5th for our Fifth Annual Wild Women of Wohelo Retreat; a benefit for the on-going maintenance fund for Camp Fire Alaska's Camp K on Kenai Lake in Cooper Landing.

This weekend combines the splendor of nature with all the fun of summer camp for grownups. Relax and let your stress evaporate into the fresh Alaskan air as you explore the shores
of Kenai Lake and the surrounding trails. Enjoy traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts, kayaking and archery. Spark your creative spirit by taking a flower arranging, beading, or tea class. And just when you think it can't get any better, treat yourself to a relaxing massage!

After a full afternoon of activities on Saturday, you will ease into the evening with a wine reception followed by dinner and a silent auction. Arden Rankins of Sunrise Inn will be back again as our guest chef! As dusk approaches, grab your camping chair and head to the beach to enjoy time socializing around the campfire. Yes, s'mores supplies will be on hand!

Sunday morning begins with yoga on the deck followed by a mid-morning brunch. We are thrilled to have Lynda Freeman, PhD, LPC, as our keynote speaker for the brunch this year! Dr. Freeman is a specialist, researcher, and consultant of mind-body programs and behavioral medicine. After brunch there will be more time for camp activities.

Each participant will receive a commemorative hat along with an amenity bag full of special gifts. Commemorative T-shirts will be available for purchase. Space is limited to 70 women. Participants must be over 21 years of age.
