"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God."
--1 John 4:7

Concordia students serve on a Spring Break mission trip in Guatemala.
Dear Alumnus,

This year's Ash Wednesday is on Valentine's Day, February 14th. Both days are surrounded in love --God's love for us as He gave His only Son so that we may have eternal life; and Valentine's Day, a time for us to show our love for one another. As we prepare our hearts during this season of Lent, let us remember God's commitment and request for us to love one another as He loves and forgives us. There are many opportunities listed below to get involved and engage with others. Next month we will share some volunteer opportunities. But, if you cannot wait until then, go to CUWConnect.com and check out the event listing.

If you would like a resource to do some extra devotions during Lent, go to   www.lhm.org/lent to see devotions from Lutheran Hour Ministries.

As always, please feel free to email me with your suggestions and ideas for articles and events.

Serving Him and you,

Michelle "Mickie" Wagner '96
