Interview with Blaine Moroz, President, Commissioner, and Equipment Manager of Westman Youth Football Association

What does your organization do?
Westman Youth Football Association
Westman Youth Football Association (WYFA) provides a safe, fun, inclusive environment for youth to participate in Football. We are a developmental, fair play league that's puts more emphasis on "FUN in Fundamentals" before any win or loss on the field.

What do you do at your organization?

I am the current President, Commissioner, and Equipment Manager for WYFA. I am also the Lead Chairperson for the Boyd Stadium Project, a project already underway, to finally have a permanent home for Football and other user groups in our community.

I manage all aspects of on field activities for the league, set all schedules, recruit and interview all coaches, staff the officials necessary to play, I also assist in practice planning to ensure the basics don't get overlooked or not taught at all. I also ensure that each player is fitted in the proper equipment to maximize player safety as best we can.
