BURST PIPE FORCES CLOSURE OF VAN NUYS EAST COURTHOUSE
The burst pipe is located on the fourth floor of the courthouse. Flooding has impacted floors 1 through 4 and the basement. The court is assessing the damage to 5 courtrooms, the Jury Assembly Room, the offices of the District Attorney, the Sheriff's Office, the elevator bays and other office space.
There is no estimate as to when the courthouse will open.
In the meantime, temporary courtrooms and offices have been set up in the West Courthouse, see link for RELOCATION CHART:

SAN BERNARDINO SUPERIOR
ADDS EXPRESS WALK-UP WINDOW AT SAN BERNARDINO JUSTICE CENTER FOR CIVIL & PROBATE FILINGS
Effective February 12, 2018, a new "express" walk-up window for civil and probate matters will be open to quickly file or purchase documents and avoid the security screening process by remaining outside the building.
This may be helpful if you are filing in person and have a simple "quick" transaction.
Documents eligible for processing at the walk-up window:
- Form sales
- Copies/Certified copies
- Drop-off documents for processing
- Filings and Receipts for Proofs of Service
- Filings and Receipts for Satisfaction of Judgment
- Requests and audio CD's of courtroom hearings
- Payments for Ex-Parte filing fees
- Installment payments on payment plans
- Non-sufficient funds payments
Hours will be Monday-Friday, 8am to 4pm

HOLIDAY- Lincoln's Birthday
MONDAY, FEB. 12
Monday, February 12, 2018, Superior courts will be closed observing Lincoln's Birthday. Federal courts will remain open. DDS Legal will remain open - normal routes will occur. If your office is closed, please notify the daily-route representative so that we can make arrangements to not visit your locked office.

Monday, February 19, 2018, Superior courts and Federal courts will be closed observing Presidents' Day. DDS Legal will be closed. Normal route service resumes Tuesday, February 20. ENJOY THE HOLIDAY!
