Register for Classes
Register today for Spring Semester and Summer Session classes. A 14-week Spring Semester starts January 21 and a 12-week session starts February 3. The first Summer Session starts May 18.
College students considering transferring to RVCC for the Spring Semester, recent high school graduates who are ready to start college, and adults who are thinking about returning to the classroom to prepare for a new career are invited to attend an Instant Decision Day on January 14. RVCC's Instant Decision Day gives you the opportunity to take steps toward enrolling for the Spring Semester all at one time. The program will be held in RVCC's Event Center. Prospective students may attend anytime from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
While preparing for final exams is stressful on its own, RVCC student Christian Redden has had some extra exciting challenges the past few weeks. As his classmates were at home studying for finals, the RVCC International Business major was in the Philippines as a member of Singapore's National Ice Hockey Team, competing at the South East Asia Games 2019.
Twenty-one students from RVCC's Honors College presented their independent "Capstone Course" projects during a full-day symposium in December. Project topics ran the gamut of subjects--from "Is Universal Health Care the Answer?" to "Are Millennials Foregoing or Delaying Marriage," to "A Discussion of What Alzheimer's Disease Is," to "Changing People's Behavior to Incorporate More Recycling," to "The Socioeconomic Status Effects on College Attainment."
Members of the community are invited to participate in the fourth annual RVCC Giving Day on March 19. The 24-hour online event will raise funds for scholarships, educational programs and more at RVCC.
RVCC has earned a "gold seal" in the 2019 ALL IN Challenge Awards for its student voter engagement. The awards recognize colleges and universities across the country that are committed to increasing college student voting rates. Institutions that earn a gold seal have achieved a student voting rate between 40-49 percent.
Members of RVCC's Student Occupational Therapy Assistant Association helped build a ball holder and organize materials for the sensory room at Mane Stream in Oldwick.

The RVCC Planetarium is presenting a variety of star shows and laser concerts in January. Selections include a program focusing on the Space Race, tours of the current night sky, and laser concerts featuring music by The Beatles and Pink Floyd.
