New Resources
Capital Region Water has released a draft of its
City Beautiful: H2O
program plan. The 20-year plan reduces combined-sewer overflows and upgrades the separate sewer and stormwater systems in Harrisburg, Pa.
This document is intended to help smaller local governments, particularly those with MS4 stormwater programs, to evaluate the benefits of green infrastructure. It details how combining green and gray infrastructure systems allows local governments to lower costs, solve systemic water challenges and enhance a community's quality of life.

Environmental Education Grant
(Next deadline: March 15)
U.S. EPA's

U.S. EPA Region 2 expects to award three or four grants for between $50,000 and $100,000.
Roots for Rivers Reforestation Grant and Technical Assistance Program
(Next deadline: March 16)
The Nature Conservancy is partnering with Sustainable Jersey to offer a
Roots for Rivers Reforestation Grant and Technical Assistance program

Projects costing between $1,000 and $20,000 are eligible. An
informational webinar
will be held Thursday, Feb. 22, at 1:30 PM.
