Compensation Survey for Technology Firms in the GTA, KW and Ottawa Region

We are thrilled to announce that we are partnering with Brighlights, MaRS, MNP and others to provide you with an opportunity to get compensation information tailored to you so you can compete more effectively and acquire the best talent.  This is an excellent opportunity for all our members and we strongly encourage you to each participate so everyone can benefit from the data provided.

What we need from you:
The simplest is to send a copy of your Compensation spreadsheet with all personal information deleted. We need base salary, bonus and stock incentives (options, RSU's, DSU's)  for the various roles in your company as well as your location (GTA, KW, Ottawa), company size and how long you've been in business.

Additionally, we need to know how much your company has raised to help match you against similar sized companies. We've enclosed a spreadsheet to assist in your effort.

What you'll get:
We'll provide you with current compensation information that's tailored to this geography and relevant hiring roles.

This survey will be going out to approximately 350 small to mid-sized tech companies.  Needless to say, the more surveys we receive the better the insights that we can provide.

How to get involved:
Please send your response info to Survey@brightlightsinc.com with the subject line COMPENSATION SURVEY.

If you have any questions, please email Michael Fox at mfox@brightlightsinc.com
