Thank you for supporting the Holiday Toy Room program
Thanks to the support of our community, our 2019 Toy Room was another huge success! This year we were able to provide gifts to 1341 women and 2855 children, this is an 8.6% increase from the 2018 Toy Room!

We want to extend a huge thank you to all our donors, toy drive organizers, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and community for all your donations and support. Toy Room cannot happen without all your help and you made a difference this holiday season for Calgary women and their families.

January Workshops

For a full list of upcoming January workshops and to register view our calendar here

Join us on the second Wednesday of every month. Together, we will eat some food, connect with other women, share our skills, and learn from each other. This month we will be learning how to make decorative centerpieces.

All women are welcome to join us. We are holding space to have conversations and learn more about Indigenous cultures with the Aboriginal Friendship Centre. This workshop is about Original Sound: "History of Past, Present and Future First Nations on Turtle Island."

We invite you to join this monthly yoga class at the Women's Centre. It is perfect for all abilities. Participate in self-care while focusing on slowly moving into basic yoga postures and your breath, which enables you to be present and mindful. You will leave the class with increased vitality, and a fostered connection to yourself.
