No School - Winter Break

Hello Mustangs!
As we look to close out 2019, we would like to thank all who have helped make the RHS PTSA experience one to be proud of!
Thank you to each of our members for believing in the tenets of the PTSA and supporting our mission:
Every Child. One Voice. Together we make a difference in the lives our our youth and community. Thank you!
We would also like to give special thanks to your
RHS PTSA Hospitality Chair, Lisa Seely. Much of what Lisa does for the PTSA is done quietly, and behind the scenes. What exactly does Lisa do? Lisa brings in various means of thanking our extraordinary RHS staff monthly. Whether it be ice cream treats in the warm months, a hearty meal during the dark and cold days of winter, coffee service, or a sweet surprise now and again, each and every staff member receives a hospitable gesture that says "Thank you! You make a difference for our students!" Lisa also partners with ASB to support their events with hospitality. She is that piece of the puzzle that makes staff and students feel special. Thank you, Lisa!
Another behind the scenes volunteer is
Steven Blackmon, our RHS PTSA Newletter Chair. Each and every week, Steven works countless hours to make sure we all receive the most up to date news and happenings affecting our students. Steven has a pulse on all that goes on at RHS and makes sure our members are well informed. Thank you, Steven!
Though we are closing out this calendar year, we have a great parent educational event to start 2020: Your PTSA is co-sponsoring a parent educational event with LWPTSA. We hope you will join us for the
Suicide Awareness presentation and discussion,
January 16th, 7-9 pm, at the RHS Library. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Thank you for your continued support and for being a positive member of the Mustang Community.
We hope you have a wonderful, restful, and safe holiday filled with friends and family.

Sincerely,
Meredith Cain and Michelle Obenaus

GRAPHING CALCULATOR DONATION PROGRAM
Do you have an extra graphing calculator that your student is no longer using? The RHS PTSA is partnering with the math department to collect donated used graphing calculators to help provide a class set for those in need. The math department can use either the Texas Instruments 84 or the Casio FX9750. Calculators can be dropped off in the front office and no need to have fresh batteries. Thank you so much supporting this program and helping RHS to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!
