FREE Workshops
Wednesday, December 4th, 5:30pm
Getting started with Instagram can seem a bit overwhelming. However if you get started with a plan, you'll have a much better chance of being successful when utilizing this popular social media platform. This workshop will guide you through the process of setting up your business profile and creating a strategy, while offering 10 tips for success. There will be time for practicing what you learn so bring your mobile phones to the workshop.
Thursday, December 5th, 5:30pm
This training is designed for businesses who have created a Business Facebook page and want to gain a better understanding of how to leverage the various features,
settings, and advertising opportunities available on this social media platform.
The first hour includes a general overview of the many features of Facebook, how
to draft a content calendar for posting, and how to create an Ad.
During the second hour of the workshop attendees will have the opportunity to
work on their own pages with the trainer assisting as needed.

Join us for a practical discussion on how to attract and keep good employees.  Using a combination of research data and practical experience, we will talk about the main reasons people stay and leave their jobs, how to understand different generations and what to do to attract and keep talented young people and older experts.

The seminar will provide participants an overview of the HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) regulations and the roles and responsibilities of hazardous waste workers, chemical and physical recognition, toxicology, hazard controls, selection and use of personal protective equipment, field operations (drum handling, trenching and excavation, etc.), site control, basic emergency response and decon procedures.
