The topic,
"Introduction to Production of Viral Vectors for Gene Therapies“
brings together subject matter experts for an afternoon of presentations and discussion.
AveXis will be represented on our panel, with Sarah Hunter, Associate Director for Site Quality Operations as the speaker.
The presenter line-up also includes three speakers from the
Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center (BTEC):

- Dr. Caroline Smith-Moore, Interim Assistant Director
- Laurie Overton, MSc, Senior Scientist
Registration starts at 3:00 p.m. After the seminar, join your colleagues for a
networking reception, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

This year, the Tech Conference moves to downtown Durham, and we could not be more excited.

2020 Tech Conference: Exhibit Hall Reservation Site is Open

With four months to go leading up to our
27th Annual ISPE-CaSA Life Sciences Technology Conference,
exhibit tables and booths are going fast. Access the

to find out what is available. We still have a number of open premium and standard tables. Also, check out the career fair section.
The conference takes place at the Durham Convention Center March 10, 2020. We expect more than 1,000 attendees to participate in our activities and programs, including the tech show, general session and keynote, educational break-out sessions and networking reception.

Save the Date: Automation Forum December 3
|
|
Seqirus will be hosting an
Automation Forum on December 3
at its facility at
475 Green Oaks Parkway
in Holly Springs, NC. Registration will start at 1:30 p.m. with programming to follow from 2 to 5 p.m.
To date: Topics and speakers are:
- Fill Finish Project/Equipment - Thomas Nash and Thomas Plante, Seqirus
- Implementing an Enterprise Recipe Management System - Clay Schaeffer, Biogen
At the end of the day, we'll head over to the Carolina Brewing Company for a networking reception from 5 to 7 p.m. CBC is located at
140 Thomas Mill Rd. about a block away from Seqirus. We'll have a Toys for Tots holiday event too.
