It’s official! “THE WHOLE WORLD LOVES BEETLEJUICE” (New York Post).

Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, this hilarious new musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. With an irreverent book, an astonishing set, and a score that’s out of this Netherworld, BEETLEJUICE is “SCREAMINGLY GOOD FUN!” (Variety). And under its uproarious surface (six feet under, to be exact), it’s a remarkably touching show about family, love, and making the most of every Day-O! Details:

Open To: Everyone! (Children ages 5-12 must be accompanied by an adult.  Children ages 13 and older may participate unaccompanied, but they MUST register for the group lunch.) Unaccompanied minors will be assigned to a chaperone.

Departure: We will leave from The Madison Arts Barn at 9AM and arrive at Ellen's Stardust Diner - 1650 Broadway at West 51st Street at approximately 11:15AM.

Lunch: For those that are interested, we will plan a group lunch at Ellen's Stardust Diner. A famous diner where the waitstaff sings and entertains you.  A theater lovers go-to restaraunt that's sure to be a hit! For those not interested in joining us, you are free to explore the city until show time. However, for all unaccompanied minors, lunch is required since chaperones will be attending the group lunch. Lunch is a pre-determined menu with options (see below).   We will take specific orders after you reserve your ticket. 

Ellen's Lunch includes one entree, beverage and dessert, as well as tax and gratuity.

Entree : American Cheeseburger with French Fries; American Hamburger (no cheese) with French Fries; Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich with French Fries; Chicken Fingers with French Fries; Gluten Free Vegan Pasta with or without Chicken; Large Caesar Salad with or without Chicken; or Pasta Pomodoro with or without Chicken
Dessert : Mini Ice Cream Sundae
Beverage : Iced Tea, Soda, Hot Coffee or Hot Tea

Show: Beetlejuice, the Musical is at the Winter Garden Theatre - 1634 Broadway between West 50th & West 51st Street.  We will be attending the matinee at 2PM. The show runs 2 hours and 30 minutes with a 15 minute intermission. The theater recommends the show for ages 10 and up (please be advised that there is adult language and references to adult situations). The theater does not allow children 4 years of age or younger.  Our tickets are located in the Front Mezzanine Side Center Aisles, Rows A-D 

Departure: We will leave from the Winter Garden Theatre at 5PM and arrive back at The Madison Arts Barn at approximately 7:30PM

Cost: $165 per person for tickets and transportation - additional $35 per person if adding lunch at Ellen's Stardust Diner
