State Championship Information

TICKETS

Every person who enters Georgia State Stadium needs a ticket, with the exception of lap babies. If a child can sit in a seat, they need a ticket. Pre-Sale Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Buford High School from 7:00am until 3:00pm in the front office on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday . No tickets will available on Friday at BHS. Students from Buford High School may purchase tickets during all lunches on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday . Tickets can be purchased online from GoFan for $22 by clicking here: https://gofan.co/app/events/76095 On the day of the game, tickets will cost $23 .

THINGS TO KNOW

Clear Bag Policy The Clear Bag Policy at Georgia State Stadium is strictly enforced. The following items are allowed: · Bags that are clear plastic or vinyl material that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12". · One gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag type). · Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" with or without a handle strap. NOTE: Those possessing non-conforming bags MUST take their bags back to their vehicle or check it at the valet service.

Where to Enter? Buford spectators may enter through Gates 5 & 6 . Spectators with GHSA Passes may enter through the Pass Gate, which is Gate 9. A photo ID will be required with all GHSA passes. Zero Umbrella Policy Absolutely NO umbrellas of any type are allowed inside Georgia State Stadium, no exceptions. Please remember to bring raincoats or ponchos if rain is in the forecast. Additional Forbidden Items · NO signs of any kind. · NO banners of any kind. · NO powder of any kind. · NO glitter of any kind. · NO airhorns of any kind. · NO whistles of any kind. · NO fans are allowed on the playing field before or after the game. When Can I Enter? Gates open an hour before the first game, so on Friday, December 13th t he gates will open at 9:00am. There are games at 10am & 1pm before our game. Please be considerate of their fans during and after their game as you get to the stadium. Do not assume that their fans are leaving their seats and the stadium when their game ends.

STUDENT CHECK-OUTS

Will student spectators who attend the Buford vs. Warner Robins game be excused from school on Friday, December 13, 2019? Student spectators who attend the Buford vs. Warner Robins game on December 13, 2019 may receive a school-related check-out any time after 11:30am (after 4 th period for BHS). A parent note indicating that the student attended the game is required upon returning to school for BES, BA, BSA, and BMS students. For BHS students, a note and a ticket stub or picture of their online ticket is required for BHS students.

If students miss school on Friday prior to 11:30am because they are planning to attend the game, will they receive either a school-related or excused absence? No. Students will receive an unexcused absence if they miss the first part of the school day on Friday, December 13, 2019, because they are planning to attend the game.

Will a school-related check-out on December 13 th count against a student’s goal of perfect attendance? No. Will a school-related check-out on December 13 th count as an absence in determining whether a high school student is exempt form exams? No.

PARKING

Where to Park? Buford spectators will park in the Blue and Green lots and enter through Gates 5 & 6. All spectator parking is $10. There is pre-sale parking available, and this is highly encouraged. To pre-purchase a parking pass, click HERE .
