Parents/Guardians of Seniors:
A Wilmot tradition is a send-off of your senior with a baby picture and a note of congratulations in the yearbook. This is an optional purchase and is different from your student's senior picture. The cost is $45. The process to complete the ad is completely online and the deadline is January 31, 2020.
If you have a baby photo and require scanning, you can send it to Mrs. Unger and she will scan it and email it back to you so that you can create your ad.

We feel that is a success. So how can we support our students in changing their mindset? Here are some resources to help our students change their mathematical beliefs. From a 2015 article entitled “The Myth of Being ‘Bad at Math’”, Jo Boaler suggests giving kids praise for what they do as opposed to what they are. For example, instead of saying, “You’re so smart.” you could say, “It’s great that you learned that.” She also suggests telling kids that mistakes are good and that mistakes help our brains grow.
