Volume 4 | May, 2018
Message from the Chair
May, 2018
Greetings, Fellow Democrats,

The results are in and the sold-out Cuyahoga County Democratic Party’s Annual dinner was a success. Our attendees loved the new venue, we had a full house and there was more participation from unions than we have seen in years. Once again, we want to acknowledge and thank all of our sponsors.

Your participation and support are greatly appreciated.

For those who missed it, we were pleased to feature guest appearances from our very own Congresswomen Marcia Fudge and Marcy Kaptur. Congresswoman Kaptur was recognized for her recent historical accomplishment for being the longest serving woman in the history of Congress and Congresswoman Fudge gave compelling remarks on the importance of the Midterm Election and all that is at stake for Cuyahoga County, our state and our nation. Congressman Tim Ryan and the evening’s keynote speaker, Congressman Joe Crowley were equally compelling, leaving the crowd fired up and ready to take on the Republicans.

Thank you to our Table Sponsors:

Brecksville/Broadview Heights Democratic Club
Carpenters Local 435
Cleveland Stonewall Democrats
Ohio Democratic Party
Roetzel & Andress LPA.
United Steelworkers District 1

With less than two weeks left before the Primary Election, we still have some work to do. Voter turnout is predicted to be around 26%. We can and we must do better! It is time we turn all of our efforts, attention and energy towards ensuring everyone we know casts their ballot in this Primary Election and the upcoming General Election.
