TBM DISASTER RELIEF DAY
JUNE 25, 2017

Mark your calendar for the first annual  TBM Disaster Relief Day
c oming up on June 25. This is a great opportunity for churches to raise awareness for disaster relief and recovery efforts. Since its inception, TBM has responded to every major disaster in Texas. With your help, we can continue rebuilding communities and sharing the Gospel to rebuild lives.

You can help promote this opportunity by playing our short informational video  and distributing this bulletin insert during your Sunday services.

To have someone speak at your church about TEXAS BAPTIST MEN's great work, contact Janice Clary at 214-275-1114.

We are encouraging our current volunteers to wear their yellow or blue shirts to church on Sunday, June 25th, to show your personal involvement in TBM Disaster Relief that also includes Long Term Recovery.

Emergency Food for Kenya Report!

Many of you may have donated to the emergency need for food in Kenya we publicized earlier in the year. We would like to thank those who gave. So far TBM has raised $24,200 to assist families and school children who are in need of food in Kenya.

The note below from Craig Steuterman, Executive Director, Mully Children's Family USA, who received part of our donation to National WMU.

Please accept my sincere gratitude for your support in response to our drought relief initiative. Your continued support of this ministry is helping to advance God's kingdom as we Save Children's Lives and provide the Hope of a future.

Attached is a special thank you we prepared for you and below is a link to a video made to show you those receiving the food you have been so kind to provide in answer to the prayers of many!  I hope in the future we can meet in fellowship together!

Your recent grant of $12,829 towards the drought initiative will provide food & water for over 2000 children, keep then enrolled in their classes and give them hope as they continue to pray that the rains will come in the next two months.  Please join us in prayer that the gentle rains will soon come and nourish the parched landscape.
