ABOUT JA EVENTS PROGRAMS
Two JA Fellows Teams Heading to D.C.

We're excited to announce that two of our JA Fellows student companies have been invited to compete for the "JA National Company of the Year" at  Junior Achievement's National Student Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C.

South Broward High School's NuCool and  NSU University School's Alpha Solutions will be representing Junior Achievement of South Florida from June 17-21.  Out of 700 student companies nationwide, only 15 are chosen to compete as finalists each year.

At the summit, the teams will have the chance to demonstrate their business acumen, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking in a competitive environment on a national stage - showcasing their companies to Members of Congress and business leaders. The top teams win scholarships and awards. Congratulations, and best of luck in D.C.!

Thank You, American Express!

Junior Achievement is very grateful to American Express
for its continued support of our programs. They recently gave a
generous contribution of $50,000 to support JA's volunteer program. Volunteers are what make JA's programs unique and bring real life experience and knowledge to our students.

We were thrilled to welcome 24 American Express volunteers who had the opportunity to see firsthand the impact Junior Achievement has on students in the community. Thanks to the support of wonderful donors like American Express, Junior Achievement of South Florida continues to provide entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness programs to more than 50,000 students in Broward and south Palm Beach Counties each year!
There's Nothing Sweeter Than
Our Storefront Sponsors!

We want to give a huge "Thank You" to Hoffman's Chocolates for sponsoring a storefront in our JA BizTowns. During their visit, 5th graders learn how to run a mini-city, where young consumers rush to the bank to deposit their paychecks, sales clerks create merchandise displays and reporters interview local business leaders to get the most up-to-date story. In  Hoffman's Chocolates, there is a CEO, CFO, Sales and Merchandise expert and several Chocolatiers selling products to other students.

Our JA BizTown program is made possible in part by invaluable sponsors like Hoffman's Chocolates.

Thank You to all of our JA World Supporters!

Junior Achievement of South Florida inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a competitive, global economy by providing real world training in financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness.
Thank You Storefront Partners
