(and the opening day on Friday 10th if you wish)
The 159th running of the Grade 1 Mile contest at Kenilworth
with a full supporting card

AS GUESTS OF ALLANBLOODLINES
AND 31 X GR.1 WINNING TRAINER VAUGHAN MARSHALL
IN HIS BOX AT KENILWORTH
winning in hintlesham racing colours
And attend the Cape Premier Yearling Sale on Thursday 16th January
(with viewing for several days beforehand)
- the unique "Sale in the City" with your complimentary first class hotel accommodation* right alongside,
handy for  The Waterfront

This is an invitation to come and buy yearlings at extraordinary value in the Cape Town summer,
with a potentially huge boost to values in the offing.
Air Fare contributions are conditional on purchasing at a sale where the median in January 2019 was R300,000 (currently approx. £15,500**), average R435,208 (£22,500**)
There is below-median value as we have found, and we compete for the perceived "top lots" - either way basic training is around £500** per month plus extras
but substantially lower cost for the first 6/8 months, then no jockey fees, no transport costs to local racing and minimal entry fees for ordinary racing.
An ordinary win pays for multiple months.

If really good....take him/her overseas with strong indications of streamlined export protocols (see below).

EU EXPORT LIMITATIONS LIFTING?
JANUARY MAY BE THE LAST CHANCE BEFORE THE REVOLUTION
Hong Kong and others currently buy SA yearlings even now.
When the protocols are lifted/streamlined, it is anticipated that such numbers will multiply.
Furthermore, the impact on the Horses in Training market will be immense with rapid export being possible - as well as increasing the numbers of
"race them first in SA then transfer out if Group level overseas"
A fter a delay of over a year due to other disassociated trade negotiations between SA and EU, the EU agreed in November to conduct its audit in South Africa with a view to lifting the embargoes on direct equine exports..
Confident of success due to world-class surveillance systems and OIE approved science now in place, all processed with the EU over time, the timing is soon to be defined
and may be March/May.

THE TIMING WAS DEFINED LAST NIGHT:
THE AUDIT WILL TAKE PLACE IN APRIL/MAY
All going well, streamlined protocols and actual movements
ought to be taking place mid year.
