SPOTLIGHTING OUR CHAMBER MEMBERS
Starting in March, the Biz Blast will have a new weekly feature, the "Member Spotlight"  Each week we will feature one of our Chamber members and give them some well-deserved, complimentary promotion.

We chose the members to highlight by literally drawing names from a jar.
If you business is chosen, you will be contacted by one of our Chamber Ambassadors, who will ask your permission to feature your business/organization in the Spotlight as well as ask you a question or two about your business.

We think this is a great way to acknowledge as many Chamber members as possible.  If you like the Member Spotlight, we will continue until we have spotlighted all of our members.

If you have any questions, please call the Chamber office at 231.547.2101 or email chamber@charlevoix.org

MEET TABATHA SIMPSON, ONE OF OUR NEW AMBASSADORS
Tabatha Simpson is one of our newest Ambassadors.  Being a native to Charlevoix and a fellow business owner, Tabatha wanted to be part of helping Charlevoix stay beautiful and be the best Northern Michigan town for residents and visitors alike.  She wants to do even a small part, such as being a Chamber Ambassador, to support and give back to the community.

Tabatha is a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones Investments, and outside of volunteering her time as a Chamber Ambassador she is also a member of Kiwanis where she helps lead the St. Mary's Builder's Club, she teaches children's ministry at Family of Faith Ministries, volunteers at Third Day Outreach Homeless Shelter and participates in the Matthew 25 Project.  Tabatha says that she "loves working with and serving people and the community".

Tabatha says she is very blessed with a large beautiful family.  "My husband, who was my high-school sweetheart, is a beef farmer and my children are growing up
and leaving the nest, so I cherish every moment that I get with them!  I value family, faith and hard work, so most of my free time involves on of those
areas".

MEMBER Testimonial

" I opened a business in Charlevoix over 10 years ago and the very first thing I did was join the Charlevoix Chamber of Commerce.  Since then, I have had many ups and downs, but during the lows, I received encouragement, support and a gentle shove in the right direction...during the highs...praise, acknowledgement and high-fives.  I couldn't and wouldn't be here without the devotion of the crew at the Charlevoix Chamber as they are 100% dedicated to making Charlevoix the best it can be.
