New Town Salt Shed
If you're wondering what that white dome structure is behind the Town Hall it's the new salt shed. This building enables the Town to maintain a larger stock of salt on site during the winter months and help improve winter maintenance operations. It makes the Town's salt management more efficient and effective. In the off-season, the shed will be used to store heavy equipment and supplies. The old salt shed, which has a much smaller capacity, will now be repurposed to support public works operations.
