Successful Wrightslaw Events Hosted by MPACT
With more than 275 attendees in total, MPACT hosted Pete Wright, of Wrightslaw on April 24 in Kansas City, MO and on April 26 in St. Louis, MO. MPACT's Operations Coordinator, Amey McAllister, planned these successful events, which were hosted at Rockhurst University in Kansas City and Spencer Creek Library in St. Peters, MO.

Both parents and professionals attended the special education seminars with over 130 attendees at each venue. MPACT thanks every one who participated in the Kansas City and St. Louis Wrightslaw events.

Pete Wright enthusiastically shared his expertise about special education law and taught all attendees on how to better advocate for students with disabilities. He also had a question and answer session at the end of each seminar that was very popular with attendees. Because of the overwhelming number of questions, MPACT will answer many of the remaining questions on Facebook in the next few weeks. Please like our Facebook page for updates!

Visit the Wrightslaw website  to find out when the next event is happening near you. Don't worry if you can't find one close by, MPACT is considering hosting another Wrightslaw event next year.
