Happy Father's Day
Growing up with Richard Harms as our dad leaves some pretty big shoes to fill! But son, Johnny Harms and daughter, Pattie Braglia are doing just that!

Johnny and Pattie both started working with their dad from the time they could pull weeds! Under his direction, they have grown up as part of the business.

Johnny has been delivering for the Nursery and Garden Center as long as he could drive.  Richard once took him to pick up pumpkins for Countryside. Johnny saw some huge pumpkins and was inspired to grow the biggest pumpkins Countryside has ever had for sale!

Pattie has grown into the Purchasing Director of all the beautiful Garden Center Merchandise you see here at Countryside. In between keeping our shelves filled, you can find her at the cashier stations and, in November she leads our Holiday Indoor Decorating Team.

They all work hard and, when they can, they play with family trips to Northern Wisconsin for fishing and boating. "He may be the boss when we are here at Countryside, but he'll be our dad forever no matter where we are!"
We wish all dads a Happy Father's Day!

What should you watch for in your landscape? Iron Chlorosis. This is a condition caused by the lack of iron in the soil. You might notice that some of your trees or shrubs leaves are yellower in color than their usual rich, deep green. There is an easy fix. Just like you might need extra vitamins or minerals at times, our trees and shrubs do as well.
Stop in the Garden Center for Liquid Iron from Bonide. For a granular solution, use Iron Tone from Espoma. Get your trees and shrubs the minerals they need.
