Principal's Message
Hello,

While you'll find much of this information in other spots of the newsletter I thought I'd highlight a few things as we head into the last week of school for our PS-11 students.

Finals are next Thursday & Friday for our 9 th-11 th graders. Please make sure they are well rested and prepared. Both days are half days for 9 th-11 th graders.

7 th-8 th graders will be here all day on next Thursday and will have a half-day on Friday. Noon dismissal.

K-6 will have a half day next Friday and a reminder that next Friday there is no lunch scheduled. Noon dismissal.

Preschool will wrap up next week;  our 3 day class' last day is Wednesday, and 2 day, 5 day and PreK will finish up on Thursday. All classes will celebrate their last days with the traditional bike parades!

We have a few high school students who need to finish up course registrations for next year, and we hope to have that done next week so we can begin to run master schedule scenarios and then finalize individual student scenarios.

We had some very special events take place this week. On Thursday, 1st grader Gabe Speckel celebrated the 1-year anniversary of his kidney transplant and his family treated all of us to DQ Dilly Bars.

Today, many staff and students wore red, joining in the REDS4VEDS campaign, an annual event to raise awareness of Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which affects Loyola  kindergartener Emily Odegard, and her dad, Eric.

This Sunday, we will be saying good-bye formally to our senior class as they will have their graduation at 7pm here on "The Hill" in our gymnasium. All of our community is welcome to come and join in on the celebration.

Next week is Literacy Week and there are many exciting literacy related events taking place.

Best of luck to our Boys Track and Field team tomorrow as they head to Stillwater to compete in the True Team State Tournament. This is quite a feat!

Blessings on your weekend and safe travels to all of you attending a graduation party or two and a busy weekend of other events.
