After 38 years of service to the State of Colorado, Denise Sisneros has announced she will be retiring on May 31, 2017. Denise has worked for the Department of Personnel & Administration's Division of Central Services' Integrated Document Solutions for her entire career as an accountant in the State Print Shop.
The decision to work at the State back then was that she was looking for a career with advancement and the State offered a great benefits package.
When she was asked what was the most significant thing that has changed as a state employee in the past 38 years, she replied, "
The State has changed a lot in family leave. It is so easy to get now. The other thing is that our Department has changed so much; they are more employee involved."
The most memorable moment at the state for her is having the team she currently works with. Everyone works together as a team. She will miss the people the most.
IDS North Campus will be hosting a gathering to say good-bye.
Come join us with sending her off with some
cake, punch, and good memories.
