A Message from FSMS President,
Don Elder

Looks like at least several of you were sent a spam email this morning that is allegedly from me, asking you to get back to me.
The email address this message comes from varies, but isn't one of mine.

This sort of thing has been going on for a while, and occurs due to scammers who mine the FSMS site for addresses and then create this spoof. The President is usually the person impersonated; sometimes it's the Treasurer.

Just to be clear, I'm never going to ask you to make any direct financial contribution via email in this way. If I should be calling you, I'll call you.

Anyway, it does appear that the internet has sworn me in as President. If you ever have questions about the legitimacy of a message that appears to be from me, don't be shy to
call, text or email.

Thanks,
Don
