Retirement celebration for Carla Leaf

Celebrate the ministry of Carla Leaf, who is retiring at the end of May as Covenant's director of mission and outreach. Refreshments will be served.

Eighth grade students have spent many months exploring their Christian faith as part of the Quest experience. Join middle school director Perrin Tribble and adult mentors in welcoming these youth as adults into the Covenant community.

Summer Sunday School begins next week
Here's what you need to know
Adult Sunday School: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in FH203
Discover Seven Habits for Growing in Faith as we welcome guest teachers.

Children: Elementary students will attend 9:30 a.m. worship and register with a
shepherd in the narthex. Following the "Time with Young Disciples," students leave for a lesson in EW207. Parents pick up children from class.

Youth: Middle/high school students will meet 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Ed Wing 307

Preschool: Parents may bring preschool age children to Ed Wing 1st floor any time during 9:30 and 11 a.m. worship. Check in at electronic monitor or classroom door.

Worship Services: The 8:45 a.m. Chapel service will pause from July 1 through Sept. 2. All other services will continue as  normal.

Covenant names interim property manager
Welcome, Zeno Wall
Covenant is pleased to announce that Zeno Wall will join the staff on May 17 as the Interim Property Manager while Steve Carriker is on an extended medical leave.
 
Zeno has held supply, logistics and technology positions with companies such as Target, Compact Power Equipment and Family Dollar. While working as Purchasing Agent for a local commercial lighting manufacturer, he also managed facilities for several commercial properties owned by the company. At Compact Power Equipment, he managed $10 million in electrical and mechanical inventory in support of a nation-wide team of technicians.
 
Zeno graduated in 1998 from Wingate University with a degree in communications. Zeno and his wife, Lisa, are the parents of a 16-year-old daughter, Lauren.
 
Please join us in welcoming Zeno to Covenant and supporting his work in property management.
