Set clear family policies
to deter youth substance abuse
July 2019 Newsletter

The first step to setting policy is to have a conversation

At YouthZone, parents tell us they are at a loss about what to do when their kids begin to vape. Several communities have taken the lead in changing policies, which is a first step, but definitely not the last. How do we prevent kids from becoming involved with substance use including vaping use? First have a conversation. And then set a clear family policy.
